The City of Sacramento (City) is seeking expressions of interest from a professional walk-up cafe operator or operators to manage and operate a walk-up café located in the Steamers Building on the Embarcadero in the historic Old Sacramento Waterfront (OSW). A variety of potential walk-up cafe concepts will be considered including but not limited to a fast casual walk-up cafe, a quick services walk-up cafe, and a potential alcohol serving facility. The City requires the Walk-up Cafe to serve the public a minimum of 6 days a week, for a minimum of 8 consecutive hours per day based on seasonality to accommodate the potential demand as the only waterfront walk-up restaurant cafe supported by the following statistical volume of foot traffic: 4 million annual visitors, as well as being located along the Sacramento River Bike Trail.
