ROOF DRAINS: Will remove all of the old cast iron pipe with the exception for 12-inch connections to the existing roof drains. Starting on the Northeast (front) corner over roof The kitchen and the center drain on the lower roof will be tied to the adjacent drain over the gym corner Removing and replacing drywall in the corner of the gym exiting the building beside the support column, then ditched to the wall at the creek 2 front drains on the lower west corner roof will be plumbed to the Northwest corner and tied to the Northwest gym drain exiting beside the support column and ditched to the wall at the creek The remainder of the roof drains will exit the South or the back of the building and will share the ditch with the main water line and then be ditched to the bridge over the creek Will use flexible coupling to connect to schedule 40 pvc piping Exterior piping will be bedded in gravel as needed All horizontal drains inside the building will be insulated INTERIOR DRAINS FOR 41 FIXTURES: 12 Showers 6 Toilets 4 Urinals with exposed traps 8 Sinks 1 Mop Sink 1 Kitchen Sink 6 Floor Drains 2 Water Heaters 1 Clean Out Starting in the Southwest corner of the men's locker room will install French drains in the present shower troughs only cutting a hole under the front walls to a 3” pipe approximately 12”6” from the exterior west wall with a Studer vent box in the corner and continuing to the front of the building. The 3” shower pipe will be trapped then continue to a cleanout. A westward 3” branch will collect the men's toilet and then to a floor drain Studer vent in the water heater mechanical room. An eastward 3” branch will collect 2 urinals, floor drain, 2 lavatory sinks and a Studer vent. The 3” line will continue across the hallway into the women's locker room with an 18” east to west branch for 2 toilets and continuing to a floor drain then an East 3” branch with toilet and vent through the roof (using and existing vent) then continuing to 2 lavatory sinks and upgrading to a 4” pipe. An East and West 2” branch will collect 5 showers and a vent, 4” pipe continuing into the men's restroom, a 3” East branch will collect 2 sinks and a toilet with vent. A 2” East branch will collect 2 urinals then continuing across the hall to the janitors closet to a mop sink and falling out into the ceiling of the carport. The women's restroom toilet, sink and floor drain will be trenched or drilled into the ceilings of the carport and connected to the 4” line stubbed into the designated sew treatment area. The kitchen hand sink drain will be strapped to the wall until it ties into the dishwashing sink then trenched under the floor until it drops out under the carport ceiling into a 2” pipe and is strapped to the wall inside a wood box flowing to the sewer treatment area. POTABLE WATER (ALL PEX PIPE) Starting at a 2” meter the underground 2” pex pipe will run behind the building entering in the corner of the men's locker room with a ¾" branch in conduit going across the parking lot entering the kitchen area. KITCHEN AREA Trenching under the storage room and hallway coming up on the South back wall corner of the sink area with a ¾ valve and double check valve and PRV feeding a 30-gallon water heater, single lever hand sink and the existing 3 bowl 2 faucet sink with proper size pipe and fitting strapped to the wall. MAIN 2” POTABLE WATER Entering the west back corner of the men's locker room with 2” pex pipe will install a valve, check valve and PRV carrying 2” pipe to the front wall of the men's rest room then reducing to 1” for the remainder. Will use the proper size branches for each fixture, to conserve hot water, will use several smaller branches from the water heater to each hot area. All fittings will be brass with copper crimp bands. All pex pipe will be properly strapped and the hot lines insulated. Buchanan County will be responsible for: Main Water heater Sawing and removal of all concrete and debris Digging under the slab starting at 12” and continuing at ¼" per foot or 2 ½" per 10 feet Sawing, removal and replacement of any asphalt Dumpsters Excavator, dump truck, concrete saw, jack hammer, shovels, picks and etc. as well as the operators
