The selected consultant will be responsible for: ▪ Reviewing and processing purchase orders and requisitions for compliance with NJ Local Public Contracts Law. ▪ Assisting department heads with procurement planning and bid specifications. ▪ Ensuring proper advertisement, receipt, and opening of public bids and competitive quotes. ▪ Guiding staff on compliance with pay-to-play, business registration, and EEO requirements. ▪ Drafting and reviewing RFPs, RFQs, and bid documents. ▪ Coordinating with the Business Administrator and Purchasing personnel on procurement strategy. ▪ Overseeing emergency procurement and ensuring documentation complies with statutory requirements. ▪ Maintaining procurement records in accordance with state audit standards.
