The California Air Resources Board’s (CARB’s) mission is to promote and protect public health, welfare, and ecological resources through the effective reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering the effects on the economy of the state. Per the Dymally-Alatorre Bilingual Services Act, and in alignment with CARB’s vision to address environmental justice and advance racial equity, the purpose of the services is to eliminate language barriers that prevent individuals whose primary language is not English from accessing State government services within the state of California. The following contract shall ensure prompt and effective communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) public when conducting business with members of the public and constituents, California State agencies, other states, the federal government, applicants, employees, and businesses. This contract is to cover CARB’s interpretation and translation needs for all of California and its respective counties.
