The City of Madison will lead a collaborative team of partners to implement the Climate Resilience Starts at Home project to achieve the following project objectives: • provide energy upgrades to at least 825 units of single- and multi-family housing serving lowincome households by the Efficiency Navigator and Project Home programs; • provide 1,050 additional households with technology to reduce energy use by items plugged into outlets; • provide 60 young people with workforce training through Operation Fresh Start’s Build and Conservation Academy programs; • engage at least 8-10 local Minority and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises working in fields related to home energy efficiency to raise awareness about job training, contracting opportunities, and available incentive programs.
