The North Texas Tollway is soliciting a contractor for sales, service, repair, test, and calibrate our leafwise oil on water detection and monitoring system. The scope of work will include, but not limited to, cleaning, evaluating, testing, and calibrating the system. All work on the detection system will need NTTA approval before starting. Performance Specifications ▪ Annual Hydrocarbon system inspection and cleaning to include, but not limited to: o Cleaning all ID-220 sensors located in the three (3) water vaults. o Inspect all three (3) ID-220 electrical cables. o Inspect all three (3) ID-220 guide rail systems. o When all work on the sensors is complete place unit back in operation. o Ensure unit is operating in Auto mode. o Ensure the job site is clean of trash and debris are pickup at the end of the project. ▪ Annual Hydrocarbon system testing, and calibration will include, but not limited to: o Testing the hydrocarbon system to ensure all sensor are operational and communicating with the main controller. o Check all system set points and ensure the set point thresholds are within limits to reduce nuisance faults, alarms, and system shut down. Utilize manufacturer’s recommended set points for system thresholds. o Test system operation in alarm to ensure it disables the sump pump motors at correct set points. o Ensure system is calibrated and ready to operate 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. ▪ Emergency Service Call to include, but not limited to: o Provide contact name and number for after-hours calls. o Respond to emergency phone call, from NTTA within 30 minutes. o Arrive at Addison Airport Toll Tunnel within two (2) hours of receiving phone call. o Inspect the Hydrocarbon system and make need corrections to system. o Contact NTTA with findings and needed corrections for system operation. ▪ Additional service work as needed by the NTTA.
