A. General Requirements 1. Flow/Rainfall Monitoring Services: DPU will identify sanitary sewer service areas, or basins, where sanitary sewer flow, pressure and/or rainfall will need to be monitored. These areas will be monitored until such time that the flow monitoring and rainfall requirements within the Special Order of Consent (SOC) have been met. Once the requirements have been met, the City will notify the Contractor that the meters and gauges can be removed. The successful firm will be issued work orders on either a basin or service area basis. The work orders will have a defined scope of work. Deliverables associated with the work shall include, but not be limited to, installation/site records and monthly data submittals of all field investigations as outlined in the specific requirement of the work order. All work performed under this contract shall be done in accordance with the City’s MOM Plan and shall comply with applicable Local, State, Federal and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. 2. Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Surveys (SSES): All Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies field services shall conform to the descriptions and procedures found in Attachment A – Field Activity Protocols. All closed-circuit televising (CCTV) inspections shall be performed using NASSCO PACP standards and must be compatible with the City’s data submission requirements. DPU currently uses a Management, Operations & Maintenance (MOM) criticality model for prioritization of SSES field activities. The successful firm will be issued work orders on a basin, or service area basis, and each work order will have a defined scope of work and will include a phased approach. This phased approach will likely include any single, or combination, of the following: smoke testing, manhole inspections, night flow isolations or flow monitoring.
