Cameron County Department of Transportation requires the services of a contractor to remove underground fuel lines from fuel tank and replace with above ground lines to fuel pumps. The following tasks are to be completed in the performance of this contract: Apply for and manage all required permits, inspections, environmental sampling and testing, reports for new system set-up, and final state reports. All excavated areas will be replaced with like material. Remove and properly dispose of including but not limited to: two (2) old fuel dispensers, transition sumps along with fuel from product lines, old piping, and old fittings. Disconnect all wiring to the fuel dispensers and fuel management system then set aside for reuse. Leave parts of the island intact and finish ends for parts of the island to remain. Cut and modify existing steel piping above ground to two (2) fuel dispensers. Supply and install two (2) new fuel dispenser platforms with stabilizer bars. Re-pipe into two (2) new fuel dispensers with steel piping. Supply and install new double poppet shear valves and flex lines under dispensers. Extend existing conduits to the fuel dispensers. Test new piping. Re-install both fuel dispensers and program with fuel management system Paint all above ground piping. All materials and labor are to be provided by the contractor. Provide minimum one (1) year limited warranty on work performed and parts installed.
