The NET+ LabArchives program includes: ● Pre-negotiated, Exclusive Terms: Through I2’s negotiations with higher education representatives, the NET+ program provides favorable contract terms that are not available in direct agreements with LabArchives. These terms include FERPA and HIPAA compliance, institutional-level security and data privacy provisions, liability and indemnification protections, and Federated Identity Management via InCommon. ● Unique Pricing Advantages: NET+ LabArchives pricing is warranted to be 10% below market price with set renewal rate caps and bundled discount options that are exclusive to the NET+ program. ● Specialized Institutional Support: Participating institutions benefit from customized support packages, preferred training, custom implementation, and priority access to LabArchives’ dedicated enterprise success team. ● Enhanced Compliance and Security: The NET+ program prioritizes regulatory compliance for federal funding requirements, including NIH and HIPAA, ensuring that institutions can meet these evolving needs efficiently. I2 and LabArchives first partnered for NET+ LabArchives in 2014, and the service is regularly reviewed by a Service Advisory Board comprising higher education institutions. This advisory board ensures that the NET+ LabArchives program evolves to address the unique requirements of our member institutions. Therefore this is a sole source.
