Master Order for Used Wrecked Vehicles. Upon award of this agreement, orders for used wrecked vehicles will be placed on an “as needed” basis by the TEEX/ESTI designee. Used Wrecked Vehicles are used primarily for “vehicle extrication” classes at the Brayton Fire Training Field (BFTF). Delivery of vehicles are required within two (2) weeks of notification. Vehicles must be automobiles and preferably 4 door automobiles. In general, approximately 50 wrecked cars will be required for delivery between January and the end of February and then approximately another 50 wrecked vehicles between late May and the end of June each year. Additional orders may vary in quantity throughout the year. Each vehicle shall be supplied with or without the below items under the resulting purchase order. Hood, trunk, doors and front fenders attached to the vehicle. Windshield, side glass and rear glass intact in the vehicle, although it may be cracked or broken. Gasoline tanks completely removed. Crank case drained with the drain plug removed or drain pan completely removed or engine completely removed. Transmission case drained with the drain plug removed or drain plan completely removed or the engine completely removed. Rear differential drained with the drain plug removed or cover completely removed. Radiator drained or completely removed. Battery completely removed. All trash must be removed. Vehicle may be in a wrecked condition.
