i. Develop a comprehensive training curriculum for victim representatives. ii. Create training materials for in-person and virtual training sessions. iii. Prepare materials for recording training sessions to develop an ongoing resource. iv. Identify specific training topics, including the role of the victim representative in offender management teams (which has shown to reduce recidivism ), understanding and applying the treatment standards, collaboration and advocacy for the victim within a team setting, ensuring victim confidentiality and safety, accountability and victim clarification, supporting a victimcentered approach, safety planning for the victim post-conviction, and traumainformed care. v. Coordinate with the SOMB to align the curriculum with board standards.
