All Livescan vendors shall provide a product and service overview, to include a detailed description of all Livescan device products and services being proposed, to include: i. A description of key features and distinguishing characteristics of proposed products and services. ii. Evidence of the product’s inclusion to the FBI’s Next Generation Identification (NGI) Certified Product List. iii. Verification that the products meet, at a minimum the technical standards set by the American National Standards Institute/National Institute of Standards and Technology (ANSI/NIST) ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2011, Data Format for the Interchange of Biometric and Forensic Information (Exhibit F), the Electronic Biometric Transmission Specification Version 11.2 Updated (Exhibit G), and the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy Version 6.0 (Exhibit H). B. The CBI will present each Vendor a Certification Letter once that vendor has passed testing of their software that complies with Colorado ICD for all LiveScans. If the Vendor is unable to pass the testing within the CBI’s timeframe, they will not become a certified livescan vendor in the State of Colorado. C. Each Vendor will be given an allotted time period, determined by the CBI, to certify as a livescan vendor. At the end of that allotted period the CBI will determine the vendor’s acceptance or denial.
