Replace 2600 track feet of 136# rail on the South Branch Valley Railroad 13.1.1.1 Rail will be in two sections. One section is 2,200 tf located near MP 29 and the other is 400 tf. Located near MP 26. 13.1.1.2 Rail lengths can be at the discretion of the vendor based on what rail size is more widely available. 13.1.1.3 All joints are to be welded in place when rail is installed with the exception of the first and last piece of each section which will be comped to the smaller rail size. 131-136 13.1.1.5 SBVR will provide flag protection for the railroad at no charge to the vendor. 13.1.2 Laying Welded Rail 13.1.2.1 All rails are to be welded with the exception of the first and last rail that will be comped into the 131# existing rail.
