The Portage County Solid Waste Department owns and operates the adjacent Transfer Facility, that processes solid waste, and a Recycling Facility, that processes single-stream recycling. The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal to design the following: 1. An approximately 1,100 sq ft addition for a compactor at the Portage County Solid Waste Transfer Facility a. Including a ventilation system for dust control b. Including a roof that ties into the existing roof of the Transfer Facility 2. Dry fire suppression systems for the Transfer and Recycling Facilities 3. A push wall for the Recycling Facility 4. A replacement tipping floor for the Recycling Facility
