This project consists of three project sites. Site 1 is located at 2617 W Phelps St. Work includes excavation site work to increase the storage volume of an existing flood control detention basin onto neighboring City-owned property and create pools for planting native plants. Work also includes installation of a grass paver maintenance path, installation of a concrete flow diversion structure, and modification of the existing concrete outlet structure will be modified. Sites 2 and 3 are located on the north and south sides of W College Rd where it intersects W Chestnut Expressway. These two sites include the installation of bioretention cells with underdrain systems. Site 2 includes grading, stormwater pipe replacement underneath W Mill St and installation of a pretreatment structure. Site 3 includes installation of a retaining wall and a concrete flow diversion structure. All three sites include installation of articulated concrete block mat. The project includes the planting of approximately 35,000 native plant plugs. The project is partially financed with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 319 money in the value of $400,000
