The project trail is 2,710 linear feet (LF) in length (between Hensley Circle and El Dorado Hills Boulevard) and begins on the west side of El Dorado Hills Boulevard, directly across from Stephen Harris Park and extends west across the four (4) district owned parcels along the utility corridor. Construction trail improvements include: grading and realignment of unimproved trail to reduce steepness and improve safety, approximately 890 LF of resurfacing portions of 10 footwide unimproved road/trail and top with aggregate base (79 tons), new native soil trail (430 LF) ad site stabilization/restoration of existing native trail (550 SY), a 50 foot pedestrian/bike bridge over a seasonal stream, two oak tree removals, drainage swale, rock slope protection (160 sf), wood retaining wall (55 LF), approximately 385 LF of logs and/or post and cable fencing or other barrier to "direct" pedestrians and bikers, trail signs as described in the construction plans, two pedestrian crosswalks on both east and west sides of Hensley Circle with signage, recreation trail and wayfinding signage, and other signage and items as identified in the construction documents.
