The City of Somerville is requesting bids for the delivery of stone & gravel (Section I) and the transport and disposal of waste (Section II) for the Water Department. This bid is in two sections. Vendors must bid on both sections for a bid to be considered responsive. Section I: Stone & Gravel Delivery of crushed stone and gravel for City water and sewer system related work. Stone and gravel will be delivered to the City of Somerville Department of Public Works Yard 2 located on Charles E Ryan Rd Somerville, MA. Section II: Waste Disposal Waste disposal consists of excavation spoils and other wastes generated during City water and sewer system work. Waste ready for disposal will be located at the City of Somerville Department of Public Works Yard 2 located on Charles E Ryan Rd. The delivery of stone & gravel and the waste disposal may be coordinated to occur in the most efficient manner. However, not every delivery of stone & gravel will coincide with waste disposal and vice versa.
