The Town of Branford (“Town”) is releasing a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) seeking professional real estate development project teams (“Project Teams”) to purchase and redevelopment two sites town-owned sites. The redevelopment of each site should contribute to the goals for the Plan of Conservation and Development Goals and Zoning Regulations. As a result, redevelopment should: • reflect Branford’s unique coastal New England identity and historic charm; • promote attainable housing to meet the needs of diverse households; • support local business growth and job creation through mixed-use or commercial opportunities; and, • prioritize pedestrian-oriented design, connectivity to existing neighborhoods, downtown, transit, and amenities.
