This project involves the demolition of two existing T-ball fields, as well as the construction of three new fields at the Joe Grills Willow Field Complex. The new additions will include one 46/60 baseball field and two smaller softball/T-ball fields, each equipped with dedicated irrigation systems. Key elements of the project include the removal of approximately 120 trees to accommodate the new field layouts. To offset this, the restoration plan includes the replanting of 111 trees, 53 shrubs, and other plantings to rehabilitate and enhance the surrounding riparian zone buffers. Additionally, the project includes the optional installation of a new playground and bleachers, offered as add alternates to further enrich the recreational amenities of the complex.
