Furnish/provide detention mattresses for the inmates at the Newport News City Jail. Estimated (100) Security Advantage Detention Mattresses, or approved equivalent, that meet the minimum specifications below: The mattresses shall be 27" x 75" x 4.5" with pillow. Flammability: Mattresses shall meet and exceed the requirements of California Technical Bulletin 129, California Technical Bulletin 603, 16 CFR Part 1632 & 1633, Exceeds requirements of Fed Std. 191, NFPA 701. Core: Thickness - 5” compressed to 4.5” standard. Composition - Max-Life Polyfiber core or compatible. Cover: Material – durable vinyl that is antimicrobial, antifungal, nonallergenic, water resistant, tear/puncture resistant, lice and bed bug resistant, with bonded seams and reinforced stitching. The cover shall need only soap and water, or properly diluted disinfectant to clean. Color (preferred): Navy blue. The product warranty shall include provision for full replacement in the event of tear and other damage.
