The City of Frederick (“the City”) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors with in-depth knowledge and expertise in providing group Medicare Advantage with Prescription Drug coverage to eligible Medicare retirees. All eligible City Medicare retirees are covered under the Health Spring (Cigna True Choice) PPO Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan. The City seeks to provide high quality, cost-effective benefits to retirees and their spouses. The City is soliciting offers for a fully insured, group, passive national MAPD PPO plan, with the same benefits for services rendered in or out-of-network. The proposed MAPD plan should mirror the current benefit design for Medicare-eligible City retirees within CMS guidelines
