a. Transmission Replacement: The Contractor must supply and install transmissions, transaxles and other components as required for County fleet vehicles through 15,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight. The Contractor will pick up County vehicles and transport to their shop for repairs and return to the County upon completion. Calls for service must be accepted through 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Parts and labor should be warranted for three (3) years or 50,000 miles at a minimum. b. Transmission Repair: The Contractor must troubleshoot, estimate and repair transmissions, transaxles and other components on County vehicles. Vehicles are to be picked up and returned to the County upon completion. Parts and labor should be warranted for three (3) years or 50,000 miles at a minimum. c. Transmission Supply: The Contractor will supply transmissions, transaxles, components and transmission repair kits and ship them to County facilities as ordered. Cores will be picked up and credited upon completion of repairs by County technicians. Units should be warranted for three (3) years or 50,000 miles at a minimum.
