The overall project scope involves HVAC upgrades for nine (9) existing, 3-story, +/-10,000sf student housing buildings in the Building W, X, & Y complexes located on the UNF Main Campus. Building Y's existing 2-pipe system, including chiller, pumps, hydronic accessories, select piping, and fan coil units will be removed and replaced with all new equipment. The new equipment will consist of a new cooling tower, pumps, piping, and water source heat pumps. Building Y has existing DX dedicated outdoor units (DOAS) and a boiler, which will remain. Miscellaneous exterior sealants, firestopping, patch/repair work, and finish repairs will also need to take place. Building W & X's existing 2-pipe system, including chiller, pumps, hydronic accessories, select piping, and fan coil units will be removed and replaced with all new equipment. The new equipment will consist of a new cooling tower, pumps, piping, and water source heat pumps. Building W & X will also receive new DX dedicated outdoor units (DOAS) for outside air and dehumidification, as well as new rooftop exhaust fans. The existing boiler is proposed to remain. New HVAC systems and exhaust fans will be tied into the existing DDC system. New interior drywall soffits in each dorm room, miscellaneous exterior sealants, firestopping, patch/repair work, and finish repairs will also need to take place
