Pursuant to MENTAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (405 ILCS 20/) Community Mental Health Act, the 708 Board is focusing its grant allocations to provide mental health services, including services for persons with a developmental disability or substance use disorder. There is no standard form for the application. Entities/persons wishing to provide services to Iroquois County residents need to submit a proposal to the 708 Board. Proposals need to include the dollar amount requested, a plan on targeted audience, how the funds will be used in providing services, proof of licensure, insurance, etc. The locations that will be used to provide services. Locations do not have to be within Iroquois County, so long as the funds are used for Iroquois County residents only. Iroquois County Schools are encouraged to apply to promote mental health awareness and services as well.
