The work covered by the Special Provisions and Technical Specifications consists of furnishing all labor, plant, power, equipment and supplies, and performing all operations necessary for the completion of the project. CONTRACTOR shall perform all operations necessary for: ● Mobilization and demobilization of all equipment, materials, and labor to provide subsurface stabilization as shown on the project drawings. ● Construction and installation of support areas, and maintenance of both public and private roadways to the site, including repair and replacement of any damaged asphalt and pavement. ● Completing video surveys of each structure to be stabilized, both inside and outside, prior to beginning drilling of injection borings or other work on that property. ● Mobilization, setup, operation, maintenance, and demobilization of a centralized grout batch plant (if chosen by the CONTRACTOR). ● Drilling of both vertical and angled injection holes and providing adequate casing to protect the integrity of the boring. ● Injection of grout into the abandoned mine workings to eliminate voids and stabilize structures’ foundation zone from subsidence stresses. ● Drilling of vertical/angled validation drillholes to verify grout contact with the Sewell mine roof. ● Drilling of vertical/angled exploration drillholes to verify mining extents of the Sewell seam within the project boundary. ● Daily cleanup of drill cuttings, grout, and other objectionable materials resulting from subsurface stabilization activities. ● Preparation of as-built drawings identifying work performed. ● Installation, inspection, maintenance, and removal of erosion and sediment control best management practices. ● Revegetation and restoration of disturbed areas and surfaces.
