The work to be performed by the Consultant will consist of multiple phases to include Preliminary Engineering, Construction Engineering and related subsequent work for the High-Volume Corridors Intersection Project. Work under this project will consist of Preliminary engineering / Design, of intersection traffic control improvements /countermeasures at 14 intersection locations for the purpose of installing, advance street name signs on the high-volume corridors, stop signs and advanced stop ahead signs on the intersecting roadways with a volume => 250 ADT. This project will expand upon the previous L.E.D. Enhanced Stop Sign installation project. Intersection marking updates and rumble strips will be placed at selected sites. Intersecting roadways with speeds <= 35mph may receive L.E.D. Stop/Stop Ahead sign upgrades at non-residential locations, and larger Stop/Stop Ahead signs in the residential locations.
