• Develop a clean truck transition roadmap and action plan o Target regional truck replacement and address infrastructure needs, including power facilities, hydrogen fueling stations, electric charging facilities, and other clean energy alternatives. o Incorporate existing and planned infrastructure; identify gaps and associated funding requirements. o Evaluating key factors for a successful transition, such as capital and total ownership costs, partnership and implementation models, incentive programs, vehicle range, refueling/recharging times, manufacturer availability, local drayage performance, optimal fueling/charging locations along major routes, and integration with existing or third-party scrappage programs. • Identify and recommend supportive policy frameworks o Propose policy approaches that enable adoption of clean truck technologies and expand funding access for public and private stakeholders. • Support development of dedicated freight corridors o Designate specific truck routes and alternative parking locations that may include electric truck charging, hydrogen fueling, and essential amenities. • Expand workforce development programs o Grow training and upskilling initiatives tailored to support clean truck technologies and long-term clean freight workforce needs.
