1. Monthly maintenance and inspection of propane and electric forklifts/material handling equipment a. Inspect for any cracks in the forklift structural elements b. Lubricate the chassis and mast components. c. Change engine oil and filters. d. Adjust engine timing and idle e. Inspect drive belt tension f. Inspect lift, tilt, and cylinder operations g. Check the battery in electric forklifts 2. Quarterly and as needed maintenance and inspection of propane and electric forklifts/material handling equipment a. Thorough examination of any cracks that appear in structure, pedals and breaks, lift, carriage rollers or hoses b. Deep cleaning of the forklift, including the radiator exterior c. Adjust the clutch release bearing, tilt cylinder pins, mast support bushing and chassis links d. Replace all fluids including brake fluid, engine coolant, lubricant, fuel strainer elements and, in diesel models, water separator e. Torquing the manifold nuts and engine head bolts f. Magnetic particle test forks and main mast welds g. Battery checks and electrical system check for electric forklifts h. Tire pressure and wear check 3. As needed repairs: a. Engine repairs b. Transmission and drivetrain repairs c. Hydraulic system repairs d. Electrical system repairs e. Battery replacement f. As needed emergency repairs g. Off site repairs
