The Provider shall deliver basic medical services to City of Laredo employees, retirees and their eligible covered dependents who are enrolled in the City’s medical health plan. These services will include routine medical visits and related healthcare treatments. Medical services shall be billed to the City of Laredo on a monthly basis at a fixed, pre-agreed rate. All invoices must be itemized to clearly outline each service performed along with the corresponding charges. Invoices will be paid by the City within thirty (30) days of receipt, provided all required documentation is submitted. Each invoice must be accompanied by sign-in sheets that verify attendance and include the names of all City of Laredo employees, retirees and their covered dependents who were rendered services at your clinic. This documentation is required to support payment processing and ensure accountability for services rendered. The scope of services shall include, but is not limited to, the following basic medical care: Evaluation and treatment of common acute illnesses such as sore throats, cough, nasal congestion, earaches, flu-like symptoms, stomachaches, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Diagnostic testing including, but not limited to, rapid tests for strep throat and influenza, covid and urinalysis. In-office treatments such as intramuscular (IM) injections for antibiotics and anti-nausea medications, aerosol (nebulizer) treatments, and administration of first-dose medications for after-hours care. Issuance of medical orders, prescriptions, and referrals to specialists or external providers as clinically indicated.
