Applicable Units: Four (4) of the eight doors, located at the rear of the building b. Design Variation: These four doors to feature reduced glazing — only two horizontal rows of insulated glass panels centered in the middle c. Remaining Sections: All other sections to be solid, insulated red panels matching the color and style of the full-glass doors Construction: Insulated glass panels Color: Red Mounting: Doors shall be mounted to existing wood jams Sealing: Full perimeter weather seal required for each door (top, sides, and bottom) 2. Door Operators and Controls: a. Operators: Eight (8) 14-inch commercial-grade power operators suitable for doors of specified weight and dimensions i. Safety Features: 1. CPS (Constant Pressure to Close) safety system 2. Photoelectric safety sensors (photo eyes) included for each door ii. Controls: 1. One (1) interior 3-button control station per door 2. One (1) wireless remote transmitter per door 3. Electrical & Installation Requirements: a. All electrical wiring and connections to door operators and safety devices must be included and comply with local electrical code requirements b. Routing and protection of wiring to ensure safety and neat appearance c. Any accessory hardware, supports, fasteners, brackets, or materials necessary for full functionality of the system must be included 4. Removal and Disposal: a. Removal of existing eight (8) doors, including all associated tracks, hardware, operators, and wiring. b. Proper disposal of all removed materials in accordance with local regulations and environmental standards. c. The site must be cleaned and left in a safe and orderly condition at the end of each workday. 5. General Conditions: a. All work must comply with local building, fire, and electrical codes b. Contractor is responsible for verifying site dimensions and conditions prior to fabrication or installation c. The work schedule must be coordinated with Firehouse personnel to minimize disruption to operations
