The scope of services to be performed by the selected firm will include, but is not limited to, assessment of the existing break walls; topographic surveys; performance of geotechnical soil borings and analysis; structural and geotechnical design; performance of hydrologic, hydraulic and flood routing analyses; access road design; real estate coordination, survey, and legal descriptions; wetland design, dredge material management planning and design, alternatives analysis and recommendations; cost estimating; preliminary design; applying for and obtaining all regulatory permits such as nationwide or individual Section 404 permits, Section 401 certifications, floodplain permits; construction drawings and specification preparation; bidding assistance; construction administration services; construction material testing; and construction closeout services.
