The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center (SBMEAC), seeks to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract with a vendor to provide on-site unskilled labor to clean and rake horse stalls. Tack stalls are excluded in this contract. All types of bedding including but not limited to straw and shavings, hay, feed, newspaper, horse urine and fecal material are to be removed from the stall and placed into the aisle way of the barn. At the end of each event the stalls are to be cleaned of the materials listed above, any manure/fecal material should be placed into the aisle way of the barns. The number of stalls to be cleaned per year is estimated to be 5,280 +10% each year. Quantities are our best estimates and may increase or decrease to meet the needs of the facility. Events schedule and the number of stalls are subject to increase or decrease; these are our best estimates. There are 456 permanent stalls at this facility
