Burke County is seeking proposals from qualified firms for permitting and inspections software and implementation services. This will include migrating away from the existing Munis System including processes and data to a software platform that takes advantage of newer technologies to support citizen service, mobile applications, and simplified backoffice management. The software will enable the County to centrally receive, process, manage and report on permits and inspections. It will also allow the public to apply for, check the status of, and purchase online. The system will provide a central portal through which all stakeholders will access status information of past and present permit and inspection actions. This Request for Proposals includes the purchase, installation, integration, training, project management and implementation of the system. The County expects a solution that will be completed within 6-8 months of the contract date
