The Public Works Department on behalf of the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, is seeking proposals from interested and qualified consulting firms to develop plans and specifications and provide all other professional engineering services as may be required to perform full and final design work to improve the stormwater conveyance system that drains Robin Road, Quail Road and Pelican Lane, improve the existing stormwater conveyance system along 82nd Avenue North and improve the outfall into Lake Seminole Bypass Canal. Such design work shall include development of 30%, 60%, 90% and 100% Design Plans and Specifications. The primary goals of the project are to: 1. Improve the stormwater conveyance system that drains Robin Road, Quail Road and Pelican Lane, improve the existing stormwater conveyance system along 82nd Avenue North and improve the outfall. 2. Stabilize channel banks and reduce erosion utilizing appropriate embankment armoring materials and incorporate a system of grade controls to the natural outfall.
