Environmental Maintenance of County-owned facilities through chemical treatment, manual or mechanical removal and disposal of undesirable aquatic and terrestrial plants within mitigation sites, wetlands, stormwater treatment ponds, surface water conveyances, other natural areas as well as the banks of such water bodies. Proposers must be able to procure and install quality native plant material onsite and may be expected to perform Initial Site Preparation to remove undesirable species prior to the planting event. Contractors must be capable of managing the regulatory requirements of Agency permits, such as monitoring and reporting services, which generally occur for five (5) or more years, or until sites are released from further monitoring by applicable regulatory agencies. For each work assignment, the selected Contractor shall receive a summary of needed activities, associated Agency permits, approved plan sets, if available, and schedule constraints.
