1.1 SCOPE: In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 2269, Subchapter F, Construction Manager-at-Risk Method, and Rules and Procedures, The Texas Historical Commission (THC) is requesting qualifications to select a Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMR) for the New Visitor Center, Renovations, and Site Improvements at the Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site (the Project). The selected Construction Manager is to assist the Texas Historical Commission and it’s A/E with cost estimating, material selection, constructability, and value engineering during the Pre-Construction Phase and then, if THC accepts the GMP Proposal, shall provide Construction Phase services to complete the project. This project will be administered by THC. Respondents will be evaluated on experience, qualifications, and fees in a one-step process as detailed in Section IV, Submittal Information. The highest ranked five or fewer respondents may be asked to interview.
