1.1 All work performed must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, codes, guidelines, and standards. 1.2 Provide miscellaneous equipment (soft start motor starter, sun shield. fused disconnects and bulk materials) needed for installation per project specification and drawings. 1.3 Remove existing disconnect, motor starter, and unnecessary conduit and wire. in accordance with project specifications and drawings. 1.4 Run required conduit and grounding per project specification and drawings in prepared form for slab in accordance with project specifications and drawings. 1.5 Install equipment slab with anchors and galvanized support rack per manufacturer’s instructions, project specifications and drawings. 1.6 Install TDCJ provided equipment (Generator and ATS) in accordance with project specifications and drawings. 1.7 Provide and install Sun Shelter for Soft Start Motor Starter in accordance with project specifications and approved documentation. 1.8 Supply and route all conduit and wire per project specific drawings and specifications. 1.9 Visually check all connections for quality and compliance with the NEC and make appropriate corrections. When circuits have been verified as connected correctly and when all lockout tagout requirements are in place to the satisfaction of the TDCJ maintenance supervisor or his designee, the breakers supplying power to the ATS can be switched on. 1.10 Perform a system functional check of all installed equipment to the satisfaction of the TDCJ maintenance supervisor or his designee.
