This project consists of HVAC upgrades at Houston, TX (HOS) Station to enhance Amtrak’s assets, provide positive customer service and experience, and improve safety and security for customers and Amtrak employees. The scope of work for this project consists of: The ductwork above the station waiting room is open to the mechanical room and the mechanical room is being air conditioned unintentionally. Closing and sealing all openings airtight between the mechanical room and station waiting room. The mechanical room louvers are dirty and physically damaged. Evaluate and provide recommendation for the mechanical/electrical room ventilation requirements. Provide new ventilation as needed. Replace in-kind the Trane rooftop air conditioning unit
