These specifications are for removal and installation services to replace two (2) existing balers. The balers are used to bale recycled material processed at the Authority's Intermediate Processing Facility (IPF) at the Secure Sanitary Landfill in Woodbine, New Jersey. The two (2) replacement balers are being purchased by the Authority directly through a separate contract. The successful bidder (Contractor) shall be responsible for removal of the two existing balers. They shall take ownership of the existing balers at such time and provide credit to the Authority for the value of the balers, if applicable, as part of the bid. The Contractor shall then prepare the installation sites to receive the replacement balers. Once the areas are prepared, the Contractor shall install the replacement balers in accordance with manufacturer's requirements and those outlined in this specification. The Contractor shall also provide onsite technical support during equipment start-up with the manufacturer's representative so as to assist in troubleshooting any issues related to the installation.
