Small wet and sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries. The offeror must be able to provide 24-volt and 48-volt battery banks with a capacity up to 200 AH per individual battery. These batteries must meet the following requirements: 1. Terminal shall be a threaded insert type, “L” type, “Fast-On,” or SAE stud type. 2. Batteries may be six or twelve volts with thermoplastic battery cover and container forming a corrosion free, shock resistant, leak proof assembly. 3. Ampere-hour capacity shall be rated at an eight-hour discharge rate to 1.75 volts per cell at 77 degrees Fahrenheit. 4. At least a one-year warranty. 5. Racks shall be available to enable the stacking of batteries. 6. The vendor shall make available hardware, inter-cell connectors, and maintenance equipment and materials. 7. Emergency service for electrical crisis response 24/7/365. Large SLA Batteries The Vendor must be able to provide 24-volt and 48-volt battery banks with a capacity of at least 200 AH per battery. These batteries must be similar to the GNB absolute IPP batteries and must meet the following requirements: 1. The batteries will be sealed and will not require the addition of water during their operating lifetime. 2. No gases shall escape during normal charging. 3. The batteries will operate at any internal pressure of less than 10 PSI. 4. Each cell shall have safety vents, which will self-reseal. 5. Operate in either vertical or horizontal position. 6. The Batteries shall require no periodic equalization. 7. Batteries may be two, four, six, eight, or twelve bolts with thermoplastic battery cover. 8. Ampere-hour capacity shall be rated at an eight-hour discharge rate to 1.75 volts per cell at 77 degrees Fahrenheit. 9. At least a ten-year warranty. 10. Racks or modules shall be available to enable the stacking of batteries. 11. The vender shall make available hardware, inter-cell connectors, and maintenance equipment and materials. High rate flooded batteries. These batteries must meet the following requirements: 1. Batteries shall have a 20-year life expectancy.
