Masonry repairs to the facade will include; • Removal and replacement of severely deteriorated sandstone units at chimney/ vest stacks. • Partial removal and dutchman repair of weathered or partially damaged sandstone units • Re-tooling of weathered or partially damaged sandstone units where the remaining stone is sound and intact • Repointing of stone and brick masonry throughout at stone masonry roof elements; Roofing repairs: • Replacement of existing roofing (contact the City of Bridgeport for Hazardous Materials Report). • Roofing replacement to include new sheathing, vapor barrier and roof insulation anchored with TPR fasteners through existing hollow clay block roof assembly.
