The Orlando Fire Department (OFD) is requesting semi-annual preventative maintenance services for Bauer Compressors, Inc. from Breathing Air Systems. The selected contractor must ensure all systems are maintained in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and Bauer manufacturer guidelines. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform annual preventative maintenance on the breathing air systems. Services shall include, but are not limited to: Annual Air Quality Testing: Air analysis shall comply with NFPA 1989: 5.2.1.1. Documentation and test results must be provided to OFD within a reasonable time. Filter and Cartridge Replacement: Replace purification cartridges (as specified by Bauer). Replace particulate, coalescing, and chemical filters as needed or as specified in Bauer’s service manual. Routine Maintenance Tasks: O-ring inspection and replacement. Oil changes (use only Bauerapproved lubricants). Inspection and cleaning of condensate drain systems. Tighten electrical and mechanical connections. Inspect belts, hoses, and fittings. Operational test to confirm all system functions. System Inspection and Diagnostics: Visual and mechanical inspection of the entire compressor unit. Test all safety shutdown systems. Check and calibrate gauges, sensors, and monitors. Update logbooks and maintenance records. Reporting and Documentation: Provide a detailed service report for each unit.
