• Develop a design survey instrument a. Include a minimum of two options for distributing survey questions b. Determine appropriate sample size c. Develop a clear procedure for gathering and analyzing data • Determine the target population and minimum sample size to include charter school parents, non-charter school parents and universal stakeholders • Develop research questions to assess: a. Assess general awareness, depth of knowledge and public opinion of the public charter school choice option in Mississippi i. Include questions to assess stakeholder desire for public charter schools in their community b. Assess satisfaction levels and concerns of charter school parents i. Include follow up questions to discern details around satisfaction or dissatisfaction • Track response rates by target population • Conduct in-depth analysis of survey results; and, • Prepare survey results in a format for MCSAB to present results to varied audiences and include in its Annual Legislative Report
