The work under this contract consists of improvement of the sidewalks for the safety of pedestrian traffic. The City of Quincy is soliciting pricing for a period of up to three years. However, this will be administered as an annual contract starting the day the contract is signed. The City reserves the right to award this contract for a period of one year as term one; however, at the sole discretion of the City, it may extend the contract for an additional year as term two, prior to the expiration of the original contract; prior to expiration of the contract extension the City may elect to extend the contract for a term three for one additional year (final year). In all cases, if the City elects to extend the contract, it will give notice to the contractor prior to the end of the first year.
