The work covered by this contract includes the furnishing of labor, supervision, expertise, equipment, personnel, fuel and all other things necessary for the trimming and/or removal of trees on Lowell Housing Authority property. Quality requirements to be considered for the contract award are included herein. The Lowell Housing Authority will furnish no trucks, equipment or manpower to assist the Contractor. Throughout the term of this contract, it may be necessary for the Contractor to assist the Authority in providing emergency tree services. The Contractor shall provide telephone numbers at which he can be reached on a 24-hour emergency basis. When severe winds, ice and snowstorms or other conditions require emergency assistance, the contractor shall respond and commence work as soon as possible after receiving the emergency request notification. Included in this QSP is a list of trees at AMP’s 1 & 3 that have been identified as needing to be removed due to disease and the potential to fall. Contingent upon the availability of funds, the awarded contractor may be requested to provide a quote to remove some or all at any time during the contract term.
