The purchase of sport/team apparel, footwear, and accessories for athletics. It is the University's view that a benefit is realized through a manufacturer direct purchasing relationship for sports apparel, footwear, and related sports accessories for the twelve (12) varsity sports and sports medicine currently being sponsored by Sul Ross State University. Merchandise should be of first quality and of the same or higher standard as sold for retail. It is our intent to present our team uniforms and apparel in a manner consistent with the Sul Ross State University athletic brand. It is our view that this can be best realized by partnering with a single manufacturer. At this time, SRSU does have an existing exclusive contract with a manufacturer for these types of items.
