The purchase of approximately 164,200 gallons of Unleaded Gasoline and 164,150 gallons of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel for use by various Allegany County Departments, Allegany College of Maryland, Frostburg State University and the City of Cumberland. 1. Unleaded Gasoline (a) Unleaded gasoline will not have a rating less than 87 Octane. (b) Unleaded gasoline may contain ethanol not to exceed ten percent (10%) by volume. (c) No alcohol base additives will be placed in the unleaded gasoline to increase its octane rating. 2. Diesel Fuel (a) Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel will have the following properties: 1. Sulfur content will not be higher than 15PPM (parts per million) 2. Flash point will not be lower than 126 degrees F. 3. Summer Grade Ultra Low sulfur Diesel Fuel will be delivered to all diesel fuel tank locations from March 1 to October 31 of each contract year and will have a cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP) of 21 degrees F or lower. 4. Winter Grade Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel will be delivered to all diesel fuel tank locations from November 1 to February 29 of each contract year. Supplier shall also provide fuel on the above dates with an additive to protect against freezing and/or gelling to a minimum of -25 degrees F. 5. Cetane Index of no less than 41. 6. Diesel Fuel Conditioner that will not increase sulfur content of fuel above 15 PPM. 7. No visible dye.
