Maintenance Rooms 113A & 113B Containment • Restrict access to Maintenance Rooms 113A and 113B of the facility. • Install polyethylene critical barriers at the entrance doorway of Maintenance Room 113A and at the doorway that leads into Maintenance Room 113C (as demarcated on the site sketch) to separate the work area from the remainder of the facility. • Install a decontamination unit at the entrance doorway of Maintenance Room 113A (within the Hallway) as demarcated on the site sketch. • Place a sufficient number of HEPA-filtered negative air machines (NAMs) throughout the containment to cause a negative pressure differential inside the work area in relation to the surrounding area. In addition, install a sufficient amount of HEPA-filtered air filtrations devices(scrubbers) outside the containment area (in the Hallway) to help filter the air. These negative air machines and scrubbers shall remain in place until post remediation lead clearance wipe sample results are acceptable. • Seal off the HVAC air supply diffusers, return vents, pipe openings, drains, sumps, and any other openings throughout the work area. • HEPA vacuum and/or wet wipe and clean any non-porous items and/or items the owner wants to keep and remove from the containment area. Once cleaned, remove from the work area, and give to owner for proper storage. • Remove and properly dispose of any water damaged items, porous items, uncleanable items, and/or items the owner decides not to keep within the work area.
