The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) on behalf of the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System (Owner) and Texas A&M University-Texarkana are soliciting statements of qualifications for selection of an Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm for the Athletics Complex project (#22-3439) at Texas A&M University-Texarkana in Texarkana, Texas, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Athletics Complex is a two-phase project designed to support the university’s transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II by delivering modern, NCAA-compliant baseball, softball, and tennis facilities. Phase 1 will establish foundational elements including VIP parking, a central plaza, and initial baseball and softball stadiums—each with 250 chair-back seats, lighting, and code-compliant restrooms. Phase 2 will complete the complex with expanded seating, press boxes, VIP suites, a donor/concessions building, general parking, eight tennis courts with a viewing deck, and an entry building with campus signage. The complex will be a state-of-the-art facility that enhances campus life, attracts prospective students, and is designed with future growth in mind.
