• Study adherence by Planning and related entities in a specific set of Policies and Programs to federal, state, and local fair housing laws and regulations, as assessed by an external expert in issues of fair housing. • Maximize the City’s impact in furthering the goals of fair housing and advancing equal housing opportunities for all residents. • Contextualize Boston’s work in advancing fair housing goals in comparison to both past practice and to other similarly situated municipalities. • Recommend feasible strategies to eliminate barriers to equal housing opportunities for residents, with consideration for both legal and financial pathways to implementation. • Ensure that Planning aligns its policies and practices with its mission to foster inclusive, equitable, and sustainable communities
